Mr. Cebulko is enjoying retirement after nearly two decades of excellence in medical coding and compliance with Advocate Aurora Health Care. An alumnus of DePaul University, he holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration. Prior to entering the healthcare industry, he enjoyed a career in the financial sector, and was inspired to consider a career change by his wife, a physician. Seeing medical compliance as a growth opportunity, Mr. Cebulko joined Advocate Health Care in 2003.
During the length of his time with Advocate Aurora Health Care, Mr. Cebulko specialized in medical coding and billing, and eventually rose to supervise a staff of four coding specialists, and was responsible for conducting provider audits and staff reviews. He is a member of the American Health Information Management Association, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, and the Institute of Management Accountants. After more than 15 years of dedicated service, Mr. Cebulko stepped down from his position in 2020.
Mr. Cebulko attributes his success to his drive and to the quality of his education, and is considering a return to the healthcare sector to explore opportunities in organizational management. In his retirement, he is active in the congregation of Jesus Shepherd of Souls Church, and volunteers with the American Heart Association and the March of Dimes. Mr. Cebulko enjoys travel, cooking and community outreach, and hopes to be able to dedicate more time to pursuing photography, a lifelong hobby.
