Subsequently, she obtained a Master of Business Administration in international finance from the University of San Diego's School of Business Administration in 1992, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southwestern University's School of Law in 1995 and a Master of Laws in tax law from the University of San Diego's Law School in 1997. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Allen has been affiliated with the San Diego County Bar Association, the State Bar of California and American Bar Association.
During her spare time, Ms. Allen contributes to her community as a member and former board member at the North San Diego Business Chamber and is a frequent speaker, writer and leader within the Southern California law community and continuing education forums.
