An accomplished program, project and construction manager with a proven track record of success in transportation, water and wastewater tunnels management, Mr. Feroz has excelled with MRJF Consulting Inc. since 1989. As the director of construction, he supervises design and construction of underground tunnels, environmental compliance, hazardous waste investigations and mitigation, environmental site assessments and geotechnical investigations for high rise buildings and towers in Los Angeles, CA, highway bridges, offshore structures, ports and harbors and nuclear power plants, among others. During his tenure with MRJF, Mr. Feroz gained valuable expertise in the fields of design and construction with Bechtel Civil, Inc., CA and as a quality assurance manager with DRAGADOS/C2PM, a project executive for tunnels with Gilbane Building Company and the deputy director of tunnel construction for Parsons and JACOBS Construction.
Mr. Feroz previously flourished as a chief geotechnical engineering specialist for Bechtel Corporation in addition to an office engineer and the senior geotechnical project engineer for numerous developments in Southern California at LeRoy Crandall & Associates. A registered professional engineer in several states, he has had the honor of contributing to multibillion dollar projects worldwide including in the Middle East, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Peru, Columbia, and Marianna Islands, as well as a plethora of projects located in the United States. However, the highlight of Mr. Feroz's career has been his work on the very large diameter Alaskan Way Viaduct tunnel in Seattle, several water supply tunnels in San Francisco, CA, CSO tunnels in Portland, OR, and the Intake Three tunnel several hundred feet below Lake Mead for continued water supply to Las Vegas, NV.
Before embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Feroz earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in civil engineering from the University of Peshawar in 1964 with a Gold Medal for topmost grades. He later obtained a Master of Science in civil engineering from Caltech, Pasadena, CA. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, he has been affiliated as Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Diplomate if the U.S. Academy of geotechnical Engineers, Diplomate of the U.S. Academy of Water Resources and Member in the Society of Mining and Metals. Due to his outstanding body of academic work, he has accepted several awards over the years, including the Institute of International Education, Fulbright scholarship, Graduate Research Assistantship at Caltech, and the President of Pakistan Cash Award for securing the topmost trades in all branches of the graduating class. In the near future, Mr. Feroz intends to mentor younger graduating engineers and experience the continued success of his career.
