An accomplished architect with 15 years of expertise in urban design on an international scale, Ms. Goldstein excels today as an Architect and principal with VG Studio LLC. She is lending her considerable knowledge to two projects: residential plans in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Houston, Texas. Prior to joining VG Studio, she gained valuable expertise in urban design architecture and holistic planning through her work as an Architect Assistant with Zaha Hadid Association, Arup Architecture and United Visual Artists.
Throughout her career, Ms. Goldstein also worked as an architectural assistant with Planta and Urgell-Fazio-Penedo-Urgell and as a graduate level design studio professor at the University of Houston. In her travels, she discovered how different organizations utilized their spaces and showcased culture through design, having worked on projects for the Qatar Foundation in Qatar and the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark Refurbishment in Downtown Houston. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of starting a business in a foreign country.
Before embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Goldstein became a licensed architect at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. In 2008, she completed a Master of Architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, UK. She remains aware of ongoing changes in the field through her affiliations with the Women Institute of Architects and the American Institute of Architects.
Backed by her professional knowledge, Ms. Goldstein authored several publications, including "Digital Generation" and "Parametric Urbanism, The Autopoiesis of Architecture, Volume II." In light of her outstanding body of work, she earned an Express Grant through the Houston Arts Alliance and won an open competition for her design work in Woodlands, Texas. In the near future, Ms. Goldstein intends to expand her business.
