Renowned for his prolific output, Mr. Louisoder published his first novel, "Shock Wave," in 2017. A rollicking story of apocalyptic proportions and time travel, it quickly spawned a sequel, "Shock Wave 2 – The Book of Vallora" in the following year, which delves into the dystopian consequences of the initial outing. Outside of the "Shock Wave" series, Mr. Louisoder scribed "Midnight Sun" in 2020, a geopolitical thriller following the exploits of Ralph Dempsey, a nuclear weapons expert, as he battles against international terrorists.
Born in Munich, Germany, Mr. Louisoder initially became interested in storytelling after telling horror stories with his friends while attending boarding school. In pursuing a formal education, he relocated to the United States, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and literature at Bennington University in 1982. In accounting for his remarkable success, he credits the love and support of his wife, Lynn, whose hardnosed critique and incisive eye for detail have made him a better writer. Looking toward the future, Mr. Louisoder hopes to publish more novels, indulge in his love for motorcycles and perhaps move into a larger home alongside his wife.
