ORLANDO, FL, March 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patty Wolfe has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Wolfe is an Emmy Award-winning video content director/producer celebrating more than 38 years of innovation and groundbreaking content creation. Passionate for the field of athletics, she began producing sports programming while an active student at the University of Florida where she served as student assistant to the Sports Information Director and Assistant Athletic Director for media relations. Ms. Wolfe interned at Good Morning America in New York her senior year. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications at UF, where she received the Dean's Cup for Professional Promise, she went to work for Good Morning America full time. Within a year she moved to ABC Sports.
Ms. Wolfe quickly established herself at ABC Sports, becoming the first woman at the network to direct a college football game to a national audience. She earned three Sports Emmy Awards for the 1990 Kentucky Derby, Trans-Antarctica an International Expedition, and Wide World of Sports Anniversary Show. She would later receive recognition from the Director's Guild of America.
Ms. Wolfe went on to freelance projects producing the Jim Thorpe Pro Sports Awards (the precursor to the ESPY's) for ABC for four years as well as several network specials for Kathie Lee Gifford.
Ms. Wolfe started the Patty Wolfe Media Group (PWMG) after moving to Florida to be near her ailing parents in 2014. She continues to produce sports programming with a special focus on thoroughbred racing and breeding. She also continues her record of excellence in media winning prestigious Eclipse Awards in 2018 and 2020. PWMG provides digital content media to corporate clients in manufacturing and pharmaceuticals as well as non-profits including Autism Speaks, the NY Race Track Chaplaincy and the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, among others. In the coming years she looks forward to growing and evolving along with the dynamic space of digital media content and looks forward to relocating soon back to the American Northeast.
