Prior to his commitments to the industry, he worked in library science for a decade, beginning as a senior library assistant for the Commission of the Blind and Visually Impaired, New Jersey Department of Human Services, in Newark. Following this appointment, Mr. Fraulino found success as a librarian and library technician for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, a sub-agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, in Princeton, New Jersey.
During the course of his illustrious career, Mr. Fraulino has presented papers on numerous occasions in his area of expertise at various conferences. He has also been a contributor of a New York Times' Letter to the Editor column. An avid civic advocate, Mr. Fraulino's notably served as the chairperson of the Princeton Transportation Committee, serving in this capacity between 1983 and 1987.
An alumnus of Upsala College, Mr. Fraulino received a Bachelor of Arts in 1974, and later attained a Master of Arts at Seton Hall University in 1977. Transferring to the City University of New York, he graduated with a Master of Library Science in 1984. Eminently qualified in his field, he holds a restricted radiotelephone operator permit through the Federal Communications Commission. To support his career, Mr. Fraulino has been a member of the American Society of Information Science and Technology, the College of English Association, the National Association of Rail Passengers, and the Office of Strategic Services Society.
The recipient of several awards and recognitions for his work, Mr. Fraulino was bestowed with the Franklin Award from the U.S. State Department in 1999 and 2000. Moreover, he received an Extra Mile Award in 2001, 2003 and 2008.
