MARYVILLE, TN, June 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brett Mistak has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. While attending college, Mr. Mistak decided to take advantage of his freedom and pursue areas that he was interested in while he had the chance. Obtaining a license as a scuba instructor, he received a work permit to work in the Cayman Islands and remained active in the area for two and a half years. During the later stages of his career, Mr. Mistak spent time in Alaska working in the field of dog sledding. He was also well versed in veterinary sales.
Over the course of his professional journey, Mr. Mistak developed a deep interest in art. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carson-Newman University and, after taking a hiatus from the field, began to paint animal prints, which caught the attention of a customer who suggested he submit his work to the Journal for the American Veterinary Medical Association. Shortly after handing in his submission, the journal promptly used Mr. Mistak's art as a cover image for their May 2020 issue.
Presently, Mr. Mistak works as a field sales representative for Covetrus and as an artist and gallery owner. In veterinary sales, he works in the eastern Tennessee area, supplying pharmaceuticals, supplies and technology to veterinary offices. As an artist, his work focuses on portraits, illustrations and animal prints. Over the years, he is most proud to have opened his own gallery. Looking toward the future, Mr. Mistak hopes to spend more time on his art, and aspires for his studio to become a sought-after destination. Likewise, he plans to continue building his portfolio and participate in more art competitions in order to gain more exposure.
