Currently, she is a German teacher at Whitefish Bay High School. She previously worked at the middle school from 2018 to 2021, for the Milwaukee Public School system from 1990 until 2017, and at Rufus King International Baccalaureate School, a high school within the Milwaukee Public School system, from 1996 to 2017.
Before venturing onto her vocational path, Ms. Beirold completed her education in her native country of Germany. In 1988, she graduated with a Master of Arts in modern history, medieval history and political science from the Rhenish Friedrich Wilhelm University of Bonn. Following this accomplishment, Ms. Beirold immigrated to the United States to teach German, and delighted in serving as an ambassador from the German culture to American society. She holds a social studies teacher's license.
As a commitment to her field, Ms. Beirold has been active with several industry-related organizations. These include the Wisconsin Chapter of German Teachers and the American Association of Teachers of German. Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Beirold is particularly gratified to have cultivated a partnership at Rufus King International Baccalaureate School in Milwaukee, where she would serve as a guide to her students on a trip to Germany for four weeks.
