BURNABY, BC, August 06, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Raminder Grewal has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. While studying at the University of British Columbia, Mr. Grewal met a geological engineer who introduced him to environmental engineering, which initially sparked his interest in the field. He applied for the program at his school and was later accepted. Mr. Grewal went on to receive a Bachelor of Applied Science in environmental and geotechnical engineering and began his career as an environmental engineer at Levelton Consultants Ltd.
In 2000, Mr. Grewal joined Keystone Environmental Ltd. as an environmental engineer. He has remained with Keystone Environmental for the past 20 years, and took on the role of president in 2013. As a qualified professional, Mr. Grewal also holds a certificate in project management from the University of British Columbia.
In his current position, Mr. Grewal provides consultant services regarding contaminated sites. His business consists of providing practical solutions to client's environmental challenges. Ultimately, Mr. Grewal strives to assist clients navigate the various environmental regulations, as well as provide a clear path for staff to benefit from long-term employment.
Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Grewal has been most proud of the many awards and honors he has received for his work in environmental engineering. Previously, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, and was listed among Business in Vancouver's Top 40 Under 40. Mr. Grewal was also named as both the Business Person of the Year and EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist for three consecutive years.
As a dedicated advocate on behalf of his community, Mr. Grewal offers mentoring services, feeds the homeless and is active with the Association of South Asian Professionals of British Columbia. He is also active with TEC Canada (the Executive Committee). In accounting for his standout success, he credits his ability to build a valuable team of smart, dedicated colleagues who motivate and inspire each other. In the coming years, Mr. Grewal plans to grow and expand his business, and create more career opportunities for his staff.
