Presently, Mr. Gottlieb aspires to join Jump Start Philadelphia, which is a program that provides individuals the proper training, tools and other necessities to become a successful real estate investor. In accounting for his standout success, he credits his success in the industry on his active engagement with discussion groups to better understand city development and how it affects sales and also to regularly attending Philadelphia Zoning Board, Planning Commission, Civic Design Review, and Historic Commission meetings.
Because of his connections in the real estate industry, Mr. Gottlieb received writing positions with several local Philadelphia real estate websites, including with The Condo Shop, at www.thecondoshops.com/news, through which he covered topics regarding ongoing local real estate developments and urban planning and amenities for residents. He had several of his articles published in local newspapers, The Philadelphia Public Record and University City Review, and he was interviewed and quoted in an article about real estate in the Philadelphia Daily News. Mr. Gottlieb created his own successful blog spot called Philadelphia Heights, at www.philadelphiaheights.wordpress.com, through which he did his most extensive writing.
Involved in an abundance of civic work, Mr. Gottlieb notably volunteered with Amnesty International and was elected Coordinator for Group 112, which is a local chapter in Center City, Philadelphia. His activity with the organization permitted him the opportunity to organize an event that created awareness about the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Africa. Mr. Gottlieb has also petitioned several different countries, through Amnesty International, for the release of political prisoners.
Mr. Gottlieb has volunteered with MANNA, a not-for-profit organization that provides healthy meals to homebound patients in the Philadelphia region. He has volunteered with many political campaigns. In 2016, he was a Fellow with Hillary for New Hampshire and an organizer with the Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign. Currently, he is active with various local organizations partaking in neighborhood cleanups and painting projects, and by making phone calls and texts for various not-for-profits to promote such causes as gun control and voting rights. Mr. Gottlieb has also been the founder and president of Rowan University Democrats in 1996, a site captain for Greater Philadelphia Cares Day since 2007, and a volunteer for Martin Luther King Day of Service since 2003.
Mr. Gottlieb attained a Bachelor of Arts in political science and graduated Cum Laude from Rowan University in 1997 and attained a Masters of Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. He also completed several real estate courses in real estate fundamentals, practice, finance, law, investment, development, and appraisals at Temple University Real Estate Institute. He completed Field Director training with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2017 and he is currently studying computer coding and learning coding languages, such as HTML and CSS.
