Mr. Hall obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in communication and film from the University of South Alabama in Mobile in 2001. During his career, he has prospered as a videographer, digital imaging specialist, director, screenwriter, creative strategist, director of photography, creative director and producer.
Mr. Hall gained valuable initial experience as a videographer with Geffen Records in 1997 while pursuing freelance work as a director of photography, editor, producer and director for a number of notable clients beginning in 1996. He further served as the director of photography with MudBrick Media, an independent film production studio in Mobile, from 2004 to 2007. As a senior videographer from 2007 to 2009 with Midway USA, a retailer of various hunting and outdoor-related products based in Columbia, Missouri, Mr. Hall provided support for video production, editorial work and photography. Subsequently, he found success as the director of corporate media and the vice president of production from 2009 to 2010 with Pure, an award-winning strategic communications and advertising firm based in Columbia. Mr. Hall returned to MudBrick Media in 2011, finding success as a director and producer, and added scriptwriting, budgeting, scheduling, production and shot design and postproduction to his creative toolkit.
Since 2016, Mr. Hall has founded or co-founded two separate successful production companies. Frame 29 Films, based in the Los Angeles, California, area since 2013, has presented feature films such as "Convergence," a supernatural thriller, and "Sons of Liberty," an action feature. CRAFTSHOW Digital, based in Mobile, which Mr. Hall co-founded with post-production expert and colorist Jeff Worley in 2016, creates short films, advertising and handcrafted video productions.
During his career, Mr. Hall has accrued many honors and awards, including Best of Fest and Favorite Feature Film from the First Glance Film Festival, Best Director and Best Action Film from the Nova Film Festival, and Official Selection in the Busan International Film Festival, all in 2015. In 2018 he won the Judge's Choice and Best in Show Awards at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Awards' Mobile Bay Chapter. In 2019 and 2020 he won multiple international Telly awards.
