Prior to his commitments at D'Fine, Mr. Diaz Guerrero spent seven years as an employee of Pratt & Whitney, an aerospace manufacturer and subsidiary of Raytheon. During his tenure with the organization, he met many people who were unable to secure a position due to a lack of qualifications, which inspired him to form his own cleaning business and offer opportunities for advancement. In more recent years, Mr. Diaz Guerrero nominated two of his top employees to participate in a $1 million program through Amazon to form their own business. He also frequently volunteers as a mentor in real estate development.
An alumnus of Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University, Mr. Diaz Guerrero received an Associate of Science and a Bachelor of Science on campus. He subsequently became a certified airplane mechanic at the age of 18, shortly before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. While active in the military, Mr. Diaz Guerrero earned a Master of Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. He also completed doctoral coursework and a six-sigma course in total quality management at Villanova University. Mr. Diaz Guerrero notably served in the military for 20 years and spent time overseas in Afghanistan before retiring as a master sergeant.
As part of his professional endeavors, Mr. Diaz Guerrero served as the vice president of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs in South Carolina. During his tenure with Pratt & Whitney, he was also the president of the organization's Hispanic Forum. Highlighting his success, Mr. Diaz Guerrero has received approximately 20 accolades in leadership, logistics, aviation and other areas of the field.
