For over a decade, Ms. Leder has excelled as the owner of Decadent Dogs. Prior to this position, she served as a scientist at the Bronson Hospital Laboratory in Kalamazoo for over 30 years. Ms. Leder attributes her success to striving to be good, her work ethic and her boundless enthusiasm for what she does.
After working as a scientist throughout her career, Ms. Leder opened a dog store as a step towards retirement, but she has found a great passion for the work and hopes to continue to do it as she enjoys utilizing creativity to help customers. Notably, she was recognized as the Business Person of the Year for South Haven in 2015. Ms. Leder is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Ms. Leder initially obtained a bachelor's degree in medical technology in 1979. She intends to contribute to her local humane society organizations and to volunteer more in the future. In 2021, Ms. Leder earned recognition from the Boundless Woman Confab in Kalamazoo.
