A leader in the non-profit sector Ms. Pringle established Pringle's Pit Stop in 2019, an organization that specializes in providing services to those experiencing homelessness or in imminent danger of experiencing homelessness in the greater Newark metro area. As founder and president Ms. Pringle works alongside her sons Chief Petty Officer Jeri, Geri and Ieri and her daughters Keri and Aeri helping individuals and families not only get back on their feet but stay on their feet. Through a variety of innovative services including mobile/remote and on-site case management as well as daily living skills training for clients and consumers. For outside service providers and community organizations and their employees, Pringle's Pit Stop provides training focusing on "The New Face of Case Management."
Ms. Pringle has given over 500 hours serving as an outsourced non-profit service provider for the guests and consumers currently residing at Hope Village I in Newark, NJ (the first container shelter site in the state (as the Daily Living Skills Trainer). In conjunction with the city of Newark, NJ's Office of Homeless Services United Community Corporation, Ms. Pringle is able to offer empowering training opportunities to the guests/consumers of Hope Village I enabling them to overcome barriers to a better quality of life.
Ms. Pringle is also founder and president of Pringle's Cleaning Solutions LLC specializing in commercial cleaning. Ms. Pringle hires those currently experiencing homelessness, in imminent danger of as well as those newly released from the prison system. A combination of life skills and cleaning skills training is provided to those who are committed to becoming self-sustaining members of the community. Ms. Pringle is an OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Certified Site Safety Supervisor. St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA and Pringle's Pit Stop Inc. have a collaborative partnership that focuses on young people experiencing homelessness or in imminent danger of not being able to continue their academic experience. St. Vincent College will guide interested individuals through the admissions process.
Inspired by a very intense personal experience. Ms. Pringle experienced several degrees of homelessness including street homelessness, couch surfing and the shelter system. Ms. Pringle and her two underaged children fell through many unaddressed cracks within the system and overcame many barriers that many homeless individuals and families face daily. Desiring to start an organization to advocate and help those in desperate need of assistance, her goal was to assist other individuals and families avoid the systemic cracks and setbacks. Known for her tireless advocacy work and contributions to her community and surrounding areas, Ms. Pringle currently serves as one of the commissioners for Newark's (NJ) Commission of Homelessness, Community Liaison on the board of the City of Newark's Homeless Coalition. Ms. Pringle also serves as a member of Monarch Housing Association's Advisory Board, as well as chaplain and service information specialist/board member for COOL School (Center of Occupational Learning) as well as Garden State Leader and member of the National Action Network.
