Mr. Butler has found success as a consultant in the process engineering industry for over 30 years. He is currently a PLM (lifecycle management) process engineer for ACCO Inc., a role he has held since 2015 and, since 2013, he has worked as a product development consultant for ACCO as well. His roles hold the responsibility of ensuring that manufacturing and engineering sites around the world receive access to documentation for creating different product lines, and he provides updates to the PLM systems. Mr. Butler also seeks engineering solutions that could be applied to existing product lines.
Previously, Mr. Butler served for four years as a member of the United States Air Force. In this capacity, he enjoyed opportunities to focus on engineering and communications development, and was a trusted instructor as well. To wit, Mr. Butler credits his military service with providing him with the important education and training that stand in place of a university degree.
Mr. Butler is committed to improving technology, to the extent that he collaborates with various companies to develop engineering patents.
