A talented martial artist, Mr. Sasynuik has distinguished himself as the owner and sifu (teacher) of Kung Fu Club Fall City/Issaquah in Fall City, Washington, since 1993. As a certified instructor, he is devoted to providing students from ages six to adult with professional and inspirational instruction. Offering both group and private lessons, Mr. Sasynuik's lessons include training on striking bags and other equipment, followed by sticking and trapping exercises, Mook Jong training, blocking and punching drills, and grasping and seizing exercises, as well as counters. Intermediate and advanced classes also include sparring drills, exercises and Chi Sao, which is used to develop contact reflexes through touch.
In addition to teaching Xiong Jiang Wing Chun for more than 30 years, Mr. Sasynuik has served as a teacher of Daoist Qi Gong Nui Gong throughout the same span of time. He also holds a Black Sash in Xiong Jiang Wing Chun and was trained by Bruce Lee's first Kung Fu students.

In this capacity, he performs weddings and funeral ceremonies throughout the U.S. and in Canada and Jamaica. Additionally, Mr. Sasynuik is involved in community outreach and frequently performs demonstrations in self-defense for the public.
Mr. Sasynuik studied at the University of Washington between 1975 and 1979. It was notably during his college years that he was first introduced to martial arts by several of his college classmates. During the earliest stages of his career, Mr. Sasynuik was a corporate advertising salesman. He also worked in copywriting and writing before becoming a martial arts teacher.
In 2003, Mr. Sasynuik was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the Kung Fu Man of the Year by Professor Silverio Guerra. Among other professional accomplishments, he has been blessed to follow the career of one of his former students who owns one of the largest Wing Chun School in the U.S. Additionally, Mr. Sasynuik contributed the forward to his former student's book. In accounting for his success, he credits the influence of his father, who survived the Second World War and went on to become a doctor.
