Over the years, Dr. Arfaoui has also received certifications in leadership principles, change management, anticorruption and human rights, negotiations, and integrated planning for climate change and biodiversity.
In light of her professional achievements, Dr. Arfaoui won the European Council Human Rights Award, a Certificate of Honor from the Tunisian President for National Women's Day, and a Life Time Achievement Award, which was signed by President Joe Biden; she was the first Arabic woman to be recognized in this way. She was also recognized as an Exceptional Leader of Excellence by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and received the Excellent Work in Women's Human Rights Award. An industry expert, she has trained political officials in Kasserine, Jendouba, Tozeur, Bizerte, Siliana, Kef, Naabeul, and Beja, and monitored a plethora of seminars for the United Nations where she is an International Human Rights Observer and Women's Rights Activist. Looking toward the future, Dr. Arfaoui aims to collaborate further with women's rights organizations.
