Among other positions of high leadership to his credit, he has earned distinction as a managing partner for the United Consulting Group, a board director of the National International Holding Company, a board member of RECOSTA Schuhfabriken GmbH in Germany, the director of Australia Q8 Pty Ltd. in Australia, the director of the Union Real Estate Company in Bosnia, and the director of the Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co. Additionally, he has functioned as the general manager and owner of Abdulaziz AlSaqabi Consulting Engineers since 1994 and as an engineering adviser for the Kuwait Fund for Economic Development in Kuwait.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Alsaqabi earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering at the University of Colorado at Denver in 1980. Over the course of his career, he has contributed a great deal of his own research to the field, including co-authoring papers presented at the Water in the Arab World Symposium at Harvard University in 1993, the All Africa Water Supple and Sanitation Workshop and Conference in 1990 and the Fourth World Congress on Desalination in Kuwait in 1989. Additionally, he is a member of the Kuwait Society of Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. He is also a founding member of the Middle East Water Research and Information Network.
Within the coming years, Mr. Alsaqabi intends to continue expanding the scope of his career.
