Since obtaining his role, he has overseen all permits for construction inspections, handled property transactions, updated the training of the Uniform Construction Code, and supervised and managed the code enforcements, construction permitting, and records administration divisions.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Arnold gained valuable expertise with the City of Newark, New Jersey, as a director; Maris High School as vice principal; and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, as the assistant dean of the Master of Business Administration program. Notably, Mr. Arnold also served with the United States Army between 1985 and 1991.
An expert in his field, Mr. Arnold holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's degree in liberal studies from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, receiving his master's degree in 2020. Alongside his work in the field, he maintains affiliation with the Rutgers Federation and contributes to his community as the co-president of his local High School Alumni Association.
