MECHANICSBURG, PA, October 24, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marissa M. Trainor has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Long motivated by a passion for making sales and meeting people, Ms. Trainor has accrued more than 15 years of experience in the medical field, most recently distinguishing herself as an Executive Territory Manager at KOWA Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. In this capacity, she has found success as a cardiovascular sales leader since 2019, during which time she notably attained the President's Club Achievement Award in 2021.
Previously, Marissa M. Trainor served in numerous roles throughout the pharmaceutical and aesthetics industries, including as a Professional Territory Manager with VI Aesthetics from 2009 until 2013, where she successfully marketed the first pain-free chemical peel treatment in the United States and became a licensed medical aesthetician. She had previously worked as a sales representative for Medicis between 2008 and 2009, during which time her region was ranked first in the United States and as the 2008 Region of the Year by the company. Ms. Trainor initially became involved in the pharmaceutical industry in 2007 through her role as a clinical dermatology sales representative at Stiefel Laboratories, where she helped launch two products and reached consistently high sales metrics, helping to move her district from 18th place out of 24 to first place within 18 months.
Prior to her entry into the medical field, Ms. Trainor worked for several years as a Wholesale Account Executive in the mortgage banking industry. Among her responsibilities, she built a network of more than 50 brokers and routinely generated leads for the company as a whole, perfecting her ability to harness existing business relationships for maximum profit while nurturing new partnerships simultaneously. For her excellent performance in this regard, she was bestowed with the President's Club Silver Level Achievement Award by Fremont Investment and Loan in 2004.
Adjacent to her primary career endeavors, Marissa M. Trainor has also established herself as an author, penning "The Amazing Adventures of Ava Appleby," a children's mystery story, in 2017. She went on to release "Good Night, Little Star" in 2020 and "50 Jokes by Ava" in 2021. Ms. Trainor's body of work is available for purchase on Amazon.com, as well as through Barnes & Noble.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Trainor is a frequent donor to such charitable causes as the Bowery Mission and various food banks in her local community. She also regularly participates in activities and worship at her local Presbyterian church in Mechanicsburg.
Ms. Trainor first sought a formal education at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Following this accomplishment, she received a Master of Business Administration in management at Winthrop University. In honor of her subsequent accomplishments, she was bestowed with a Leadership Award by the Global Society of Empowered Women in 2017.
In accounting for her success, Ms. Trainor credits her consistency, work ethic and ambition. Ms. Trainor has also demonstrated a great deal of tenacity in her life. In her estimation, one cannot achieve success without failure. Strength grows in the moments when you think you can't go on but you keep going anyway. Looking toward the future, Ms. Trainor hopes to continue serving as an inspiration to others and to write more children's literature (already hard at work on her fourth publication).
