Drawing on over three decades of expertise, Dr. Mansy specialized in chemistry. Prior to his retirement in 2004, he found much success with the United States Army Corps of Engineers, where he first served as a senior chemist, and as a subject matter expert of chemistry from 1998 to 2004. Prior this role, he was active as a quality assurance section chief for the Ohio River Division Laboratory at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1991 until 1998. Dr. Mansy initially began his career working as a research associate at the Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where he served from 1972 to 1973.
Dr. Mansy continued his vocation as a fellow for the National Institute of Health at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana, from 1973 until 1977. Following this post, he was active as an analytical and a senior chemist at Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, between 1977 and 1984. He also garnered expertise as a quality control manager at Environmental Health Research and Testing Inc. from 1990 to 1991.

He also attained three patents and presented at various national and international conferences. As a commitment to his field, Dr. Mansy was active with several industry-related organizations, including the American Chemical Society.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Mansy pursued an education at Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and geology in 1960. He continued his academic efforts at Alexandria University, earning a Master of Science in physical organic chemistry in 1965. He completed his scholarly endeavors at Michigan State University, where he attained a Doctor of Philosophy in biophysics in 1971.
Among his professional accomplishments, Dr. Mansy is most proud to have discovered an anti-tumor drug, for which he spent two years researching its components and interactions with DNA. Looking toward the future, he aspires to enjoy his retirement and continue spending time with his friends and former colleagues from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
