Outside of his primary career efforts, Mr. Hicks is dedicated to helping others remain healthy through his work as a personal trainer at the National Council on Strength and Fitness.
Before starting his private career, Mr. Hicks served honorably in the United States Navy for eight years. Following the conclusion of his duties, he worked as a flight instructor for various companies and flew as an airline pilot, after which he became an adjunct professor of meteorology for Christian Brothers University in Memphis. Mr. Hicks subsequently maintained involvement as an adjunct professor of geology for Central Texas College.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Hicks earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from Florida State University. He subsequently attained a Master of Science in geology and geoscience from Mississippi State University. Well-qualified in his field, he is a certified personal trainer, flight instructor, multi-engine instructor and airline transport pilot.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Hicks credits his tenacity and perseverance – throughout the course of his career, he has endured many setbacks and frustrations, but has remained steadfast in the pursuit of his goals.
