He also dedicated nearly 15 years to the General Electric Company, where he was invited to engage in a three-year management training program across all aspects of the firm, including training for products such as light bulbs, generators and televisions. Prior to these corporate appointments, Mr. Hildebrand was on the roster of the Denver Central Bankers, a team included in the National Industrial Basketball League, which was founded in 1947.
Mr. Hildebrand proudly completed his college education on an athletic scholarship, earning an associate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1952.
