With over 15 years of experience to her credit as the Chief Executive Officer of Dominion CILA Homes Inc., Felpat Holdings LLC and A & Z Home Care Inc. Mrs. Omorogbe has been recognized for her expertise in the field of health care and her success as a commercial and health care entrepreneur. Founded by Mrs. Omorogbe, Dominion CILA Homes Inc. is a nonprofit organization with multiple group homes that provide services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities in the State of Illinois. In her leadership capacity, she oversees the daily operations of the organization and, as a registered nurse, provides care to patients with developmental disabilities and intellectual disability.
Originally hailing from Nigeria, Mrs. Omorogbe witnessed firsthand in her home country how people suffered from illness due to a deficient health care system. This experience led her to pursue a career path in nursing. She served for a time as a registered nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, and eventually started her own business, compelled by her passion for helping others and her desire to contribute to the community.
Mrs. Omorogbe sits on the board of a number of health care organizations and was a member of the Board of Directors of Association of Certified Home Health Agencies in Illinois. She also serves as the Board Treasurer of Akpata Global Foundation in America and a Trustee of Akpata Global Humanitarian Foundation, which focuses on providing grants to micro businesses in rural areas in Nigeria. She was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, Mrs. Omorogbe is a Distinguished Service Award recipient and a Golden Impact Award recipient in recognition of her Humanitarian Services.
An active volunteer, for more than 20 years Mrs. Omorogbe has participated in church-led outreach efforts that provide food, shelter and other assistance to those less fortunate in the U.S. and abroad. She is also a generous donor to mission work all over the globe and supports non-government organizations. In recent times, she partnered with the Agwu U Agwu Educational Foundation in Nigeria to provide scholarships to indigent students, making it possible for over 150 young people to attain university education. Mrs. Omorogbe is deeply gratified that she has been able to exert a positive impact on the lives of others and hopes to serve as an inspiration for those that may seek to follow in her footsteps.
Mrs. Omorogbe holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Kennedy King College in Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master in Business Administration from Walden University.
Mrs. Omorogbe has continued to amaze her admirers as she juggles the life of a career woman, a wife and a mum to two amazing adults.
