After traveling to Uganda for the first time in 2006 and seeing so many children in need, Dr. Klikas co-founded Child Initiative International, where he remains today as the chief executive officer and chairman of the board. During the early stages of his career, Dr. Klikas gained valuable professional expertise as a regional credit manager with Dayton Superior and with the U.S. Army, through which he served for more than 20 years. Alongside his work, he donates to those less fortunate through The Salvation Army, an Elephant Rescue Group in Kenya, and Full Gospel Churches International. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Klikas also aligns himself with the National Association of Credit Management.
An expert in his field, Dr. Klikas holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Kennedy-Western University and a PhD in criminology from Dorchester University. Likewise, he studied at the Berean School of the Bible. Throughout his career, he has authored a number of works, including "Beautifully Broken" and "The Mind of a Missionary." Additionally, he produced the documentary film "Meant for More" and was featured in the Rockford Register Star.
