Alongside her responsibilities as a life and wellness coach, Ms. Silensky has excelled as a Guardian ad Litem for the state of Florida since 2015. Additionally, until August of 2022, she served for 6 years as the Vice President of Ladies of Praise Ministries of the Treasure Coast, where she led in prayer and taught the Bible at their group meetings. Between 2003 and 2010, she served as the prayer ministry coordinator and as a member of the pastoral care team at Calvary Chapel church in Port St. Lucie, Florida. While in Broward County FL in the year 2000 she co-founded a ministry to persons with disabilities and caregivers where she extensively utilized the services of her 2 registered therapy dogs. Ms. Silensky had previously established her leadership skills at Broward County Public Schools, where she worked as a teacher during the 1970s and 1980s.
In order to stay up to date with the latest developments in her field, Ms. Silensky maintains active affiliations with the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Board of Christian Coaches. She is extremely gratified to have played a central role in improving the quality of life for myriad victims of physical and emotional abuse through her advocacy efforts as a Guardian ad Litem. In the coming years, Ms. Silensky intends to further the growth of Plumbago Cottage Ministries while sharing her spiritual wisdom at conferences and religious events across the United States.
Patti's vision for Plumbago Cottage Ministries is that the Lord will use her according to Isaiah 61:1-3, helping people receive good tidings, joy and freedom.
