The organization subsequently created a new event, Speakers Who Dare, where she was assigned as the executive producer between 2018 and 2020. Ms. Brouk has also produced and directed an award-winning web series, has made numerous documentary films about ordinary people doing extraordinary things, has worked several sets for ABC, Fox, and other networks, and has notably worked with several leading actors, actresses, and influencers throughout the course of her career.
Aside from her primary career objectives in the arts and entertainment industry, Ms. Brouk established an award-winning podcast, The Big Talk. Amassing more than 400 episodes, she has focused on interviewing other influential individuals in the industry who "talk" for a living. Ms. Brouk also established herself as a prominent writer, director, producer, curator, and private coach for public speakers as the founder and chief executive officer of The Big Talk Academy in 2018. Creating a platform where she could strengthen and shed light on the many thought leaders and influencers of our time, she offers a 12-week certification program designed for those interested in speaking on the big stage, captivating their audiences, and creating lasting impacts through their powerful words. That same year, Ms. Brouk founded The Speaker Salon in New York City, an incubator and showcase for emerging speakers to showcase their talent.
Looking forward to continued success, she aims to continue progressing in her field, create policy change regarding women's rights, and have the opportunity to work with Michelle Obama. During an earlier stage of her career, Ms. Brouk was notably a dancer who began directing and choreographing as she progressed.
Ms. Brouk authored her first book in 2021, "The Influential Voice: Saying What You Mean for Lasting Legacy," via Post Hill Press. Using her platform to give others a place to share their own stories, this book is a reminder of how powerful voices of good can be in the world. Ms. Brouk has also authored several articles in Brainz Magazine and Forbes about various success topics.
Apart from her professional commitments, Ms. Brouk has been actively giving back her time and expertise to various causes, including as a choreographer of Visible Ink for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since 2013. Ms. Brouk also donates to the Planned Parenthood of New York City, the Human Rights Watch, the Environmental Defense Fund, Bidawee, Frankie's Friends, and other no-kill animal shelters.
Ms. Brouk graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance in 1991. To remain abreast in her field, she serves as a member of The Stage Directors, the Dramatist Guild of America, the New York Women in Film and Television, and, among other professional organizations, the League of Professional Women in Theater.
Highlighting her achievements, Ms. Brouk has been recognized with a Best Documentary Short at the Indie Short Fest, and the Olympus Film Festival and with a Best Documentary at the Los Angeles Film Festival. She was also named as the Top Director of 2019 by the International Association of Top Professionals and was selected to receive an Empowered Woman of the Year Award from the same organization in 2021. Among other accolades, Ms. Brouk was awarded a Golden Thumb Award from Roger Ebert for her choreography work on Romance and Cigarettes and an Award of Merit at the Awareness Festival.
