In this capacity, she serves as an occupational health nurse for Watson Clinic, LLP in Lakeland, Florida since 2003. This clinic is a large multi-specialty clinic with over 1600 employees. 300 providers, and locations at 17 sites in the area. In this capacity, she performs post-hire physicals and also assists the Occupation Medicine Physician with the physicals of newly employed physicians. She handles orientation for new staff members, including physicians, and manages employees who contract COVID-19. She also ensures access to annual immunizations for staff members and is the case manager overseeing claims of workers who incur injuries. Furthermore. Ms. Biller-Mellan collaborates with the clinic attorney, attending hearings and mediations when needed.
Before her current role, Ms. Biller-Mellan enjoyed a successful career in Hemodialysis and Hemoperfusion. She was a charge nurse at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Later she became the head nurse for the acute dialysis unit at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She subsequently served the Watson Clinic in their chronic dialysis unit from 1990 to 2003. Ms. Biller-Mellan earned her nursing and an associate degree from the College of Central Florida Ocala Campus. She pursued her subsequent education at Florida Southern College.

She is also working to keep the company's exposure to litigation minimal through her managerial and clinical role in workers' compensation.
