Having spent the majority of her career in the field of event operations planning, Ms. Majette served as a conference services coordinator at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates between 2006 and 2009. Prior to this role, she maintained involvement at MedStar Health as an event coordinator from 2005 to 2006, a meetings assistant at the International Dairy Foods Association between 2003 and 2005 and a conference assistant with Palladian Partners Inc. from 2002 until 2003, having initially begun as a receptionist at the organization in 2001. Ms. Majette first became involved in the field as a receptionist with the Center for Effective Public Policy in 1999.
Well-qualified in her field, Ms. Majette holds an Essentials of Facility Management Certificate via the International Facility Management Association, which she earned in 2022. Looking toward the future, she hopes to attain a Facilities Management Professional Certification and a Facilities Professional Certification. To remain aware of developments in the field, she maintains her affiliation with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
Though her professional journey has been filled with many memorable moments, Ms. Majette is most proud to have been featured in the March 2022 edition of Blueprint Magazine, which highlighted her career. In accounting for her success, she credits her parents, who instilled within her a dedication to hard work and tenacity, her husband, and her faith. She hopes to continue expanding the scope of her professional journey by ascending to the role of an executive vice president.
