Carol Eshleman began her career in the hospitality industry after completing a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, with a minor in business, at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1983 following four years of study. For the first 12 years of her career, she served as a banquet and convention manager before becoming the owner of Privileged Pets LLC in 1995, a pet care company that she operated until 2016. Ms. Eshleman was one of only two people to pass the required exam at the end of the class, becoming a licensed realtor in the state of Virginia.
Feeling that her real estate career came out of the blue, Ms. Eshleman was hired as a licensed realtor by Weichert not long after she achieved her license in 2016 and remained with the firm until 2018. She then joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty, where she serves as a licensed realtor to this day. Ms. Eshleman greatly enjoys being able to help people realize their dreams and make their dream homes a reality and believes that things will always work out with the proper guidance.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Eshleman is beginning to plan for her eventual retirement. She would like to transition into a role that sees her overseeing rental properties and earning passive income, something that would allow her more freedom to do only the work she really wants to and would support her in her retirement. Above everything, Ms. Eshleman hopes to leave behind a legacy as someone who was kind and honest and was able to touch people's lives.
For her excellence, Ms. Eshleman has been the recipient of a number of honors and accolades over the course of her career. In particular, she has been inducted into both the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Honor Society and the Leading Edge Society, which recognize realtors who have received a minimum of $75,000 and $120,000 gross commission income, respectively, in a given year. She has additionally been named a Top Producer by the North Virginia Association of Realtors. Beyond these awards, Ms. Eshleman is particularly proud of the time in 2017 when she helped a company executive find her dream home in just three days.
Throughout her career, Ms. Eshleman has always been an active member of her community. She has contributed her skills and expertise to various charity organizations, community projects as well as educational organizations. Ms. Eshleman is also closely involved with her local church.
