Since 2017, he has found success as a Technical Manager / Live Audio Engineer for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. In this capacity, he is responsible for arranging the sound system for live events and performances. Prior to this role, Mr. Wallace initially garnered expertise as a tour manager, as well as a technical production manager and live audio engineer for various productions, including Cirque du Soleil, Warped Tour, and Summerfest in addition to several years of touring alongside various artists such as Alice Cooper, Five Finger Death Punch, Marylin Manson, Halestorm, Sevendust, and Big Data.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Wallace pursued an education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning an associate degree for audio engineering in 2004. As a commitment to his field, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the League of American Orchestras and the Local 18 International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, where he serves as a Journeyman. Dedicated to civic advocacy, as well, Mr. Wallace is involved with the Can You Hear Me nonprofit organization, which works with musicians to raise awareness of mental health, bullying, addiction and suicide prevention.
Well regarded for his contributions to his field, Mr. Wallace has received several awards, including the Best in Live Production Award from the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's Grammy nomination, two platinum and three gold records from various artists for his expertise in live audio engineering. Among his professional accomplishments, he is especially proud of his ability to tour the world working in such prominent places as The Colosseum in Rome, Times Square in New York, the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater in Colorado, and the Sydney Opera House in Australia, among many others. He attributes much of his success to his determination and passion for music, quality performances and growth. Looking toward the future, Mr. Wallace aspires to continue expanding the scope of his career and hopes to undergo training to attain certifications in new technology, live audio and production programs.
