SAINT CLAIR SHORES, MI, November 17, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeffrey Adams has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
An expert in project management, Mr. Adams has been a leader in the construction industry for more than 35 years. Early in his career, he owned a construction business for 10 years. He served in roles as a project manager and superintendent for his eponymous firm beginning in 1993 and joined Parsons Brinckerhoff as its lead inspector in 2000. Mr. Adams applied his expertise in building development properties to his role with JOMAR Building Co in 2003 as a superintendent. He also assisted Sachse Construction and Development Company, LLC from 2004 to 2009 in the same capacity. Additionally, in 2007, he acted as the tenant coordinator for The Taubman Company for Partridge Creek Mall.
Mr. Adams was aligned with Nationwide Construction Group in 2009 as a project manager before transitioning to Newmark in 2013. In 2015, he was elevated to the role of senior project manager for Newmark, a position in which he is responsible for managing various construction projects from inception to completion. Additionally, Mr. Adams handles budgeting and scheduling, interfaces with architects and engineers, and executes an entire project from start to finish.
Over the years, Mr. Adams has built condominiums and worked on building projects for Walgreens. He was also associated with the team that constructed a 10-story, million-square-foot building for the General Motors Technical Center, which is attached to another million-square-foot, two-story building. As part of this ambitious project, Mr. Adams and his team salvaged thousands of pieces of furniture for the facilities management department of General Motors, which they donated or sold. Incredibly, the team was able to unload 95% of the furniture from the remodeling effort that was being done at the General Motors Technical Center in 2003.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Adams completed coursework at the City College of New York in 1981. He volunteered his expertise to a local charity, providing plaster work for renovation and restorative efforts to a historical building in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He also contributed to a number of publications throughout his career, including "Automotive Division Puts Training in the Front Seat" in 2001 and "PB Masters Challenges of Multi Story Building Projects" in 2002, both for The Punch List News.
Having navigated a successful career since the 1980s, Mr. Adams looks forward to continued growth. He intends to take on a directorship role for a construction firm to apply his skills as a leader and project manager to assist an even wider range of clients.
