Prior to his current role, Mr. Viswanathan began his career as a project manager for Keystone Leasing, Inc. in 1996 and then was a controller with the Zygo Corporation in 1998. He became the vice president of the Lord Securities Corporation in 2000 and the senior vice president of Citigroup in 2003. Following this role, he was the managing director for COO Global Mortgages and Securitized Products at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2007 and then for the COO Global Rates department in 2019.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Viswanathan earned a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting and finance from the University of Madras in India in 1992. He then attained a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance from the University of Hartford in 1996. Well-qualified in his field, he is a certified public accountant and chartered financial analyst.
Within the coming years, Mr. Viswanathan intends to continue to grow his company while also helping as many rising professionals in his field as possible. Growing up in India, his father was a businessman and invested in the stock market, which inspired Mr. Viswanathan to pursue his own interests in accounting and analysis. On his rise to leadership, he discovered the importance of being patient and how to positively influence the people he worked with, which ultimately led to his success in finance.
