He has also created artwork for private and commercial clients, including St. Ann's Hospital, the late author Alex Haley, Wendy's Founder Dave Thomas, CBS college basketball analyst Clark Kellogg, Xerox and the Founder of the Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center at The Ohio State University. Additionally, he has been a member of some national and international art societies.
Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Howard earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in advertising and merchandising design with a minor in illustration from the Columbus College of Art and Design. He has been recognized many times for his excellent artwork, including an Artists' Choice Award from the Western Artists of America in 2012 and a Best Wildlife Award from the International Guild of Realism in 2017. The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center bestowed him with a second-place award in 2017 and first place in 2019.
Since his youth, Mr. Howard has found an affinity for art, constantly exercising his creativity throughout his childhood. Now he plans to continue creating art through painting and sculpting. He believes he is exercising his gift, expressing himself and contributing beauty to the world.
