Utilizing the dental technology to restore lost tissue with implants brought him to focus on the early detection of Oral Cancer. Dr. Green patented several methods to assist in the discovery of early stages of the disease. In that capacity, he was President of several companies focusing on this disease, Zila Pharmaceuticals, Collagen Corporation and National Patent Development Corporation. While his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Green takes the most pride in his affiliation at the first Neighborhood Health Center at Columbia Point in Boston Massachusetts created and operated by Harvard and Tufts Universities.
Dr. Green has served on as Trustee of Forsyth Research Institute, Graceland University and Oral Health America. In the last two decades, he has created a dental practice delivery system to treat underserved children in their school setting. Collectively, over a million children have been treated in this system that had not previously been seen by the profession. Personally, he is honored to have been married to his spouse for 59 years. In the coming years, Dr. Green plans to utilize his expertise gleaned from Graceland University, Bachelor of Arts, University of Iowa, Doctor of Dentistry and Boston University, Master of Business Administration to provide next generation medical science advancements.
