Mr. Little received a Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal from the AIA, and a National Excellence Award in Construction from the Association of Builders and Contractors.
PHILADELPHIA, PA, January 18, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert G. Little Jr. has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Contributing over 35 years of experience to the industry, Mr. Little is a co-partner and the senior design principal for L2Partridge in Philadelphia. An architectural firm that specializes in architecture, interior design and planning services, the company has been providing its expertise to the residential, corporate interior, corporate commercial, hospital and higher education sectors for over 15 years. Recognized as an award-winning designer who has focused much of his work on corporate and higher education projects, Mr. Little is active in nearly every design aspect of the projects contracted by L2Partidge.
Notably, L2Partridge began as two separate companies. Founding L2 Architecture in 2006, which served as an architecture and engineering company for over five years, Mr. Little and his partner chose to eventually merge both firms and expand their services during the turndown of the economy.
Aside from his design responsibilities at L2Partridge, Mr. Little is involved in every other aspect of the business's success, including social media, marketing and business development. Expanding its clientele in recent years, he notes that he may eventually partner with another firm to handle the influx. However, Mr. Little remains adamant about maintaining a small business feel because, above all else, quality service is always at the forefront.
A leader in the field since 1985, Mr. Little began his career as a project designer for H2L2 Architects/Planners. He subsequently joined KlingStubbins in 1987 as a design principal where he spent the next two decades perfecting his work. Mr. Little also met his current business partner while employed at KlingStubbins with whom he shares L2Partridge.
Among the many significant projects that he has participated in over the years, Mr. Little was recognized for the design of a modernist building in 2006 that was recognized with a Gold Medal from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in Philadelphia. Mr. Little was also instrumental in the E.J. DeSeta Building in Wilmington, Delaware, which received several awards and inclusion in the Architectural Record. Other recent projects included the Residences at Midtown Park, the Christina Landing Retail Center, and the company headquarters for two Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Little is active locally as a member of the Concord Township Historical Society and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He also serves on several board positions for his alma mater, the University of the Arts.
Artistically inclined, Mr. Little initially studied at the University of the Arts, where he received a Bachelor of Science in environmental design. Continuing his studies, he achieved a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture at Cornell University. Additional credentials to Mr. Little's credit include licensures in Pennsylvania, Alabama, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland and Nevada, as well as certification through the National Council of Architectural Registration Board. To remain abreast in his field, Mr. Little is a professional member of the AIA and the Pennsylvania Society of Architects.
Mr. Little has garnered much recognition for his work. Among a myriad of awards, Mr. Little received a Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal from the AIA; a National Excellence Award in Construction from the Association of Builders and Contractors; a Preservation Alliance Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia; an Architecture Portfolio Award from the American School and University; and the Best Office Redevelopment Award from the Philadelphia Business Journal.
