Currently, he is a Managing Member of Feiner Wolfson LLC, a downtown Hartford business law firm. During his long legal career, Attorney Wolfson has focused his efforts on resolving business problems through negotiation, litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods. For his efforts, Attorney Wolfson has been named a Super Lawyer in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Wolfson began his career as a tax consultant for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Hartford in 1983 and then worked with several well-known Hartford area law firms including Gordon, Muir and Foley, Gersten & Clifford, Rome, Case, Kennelly and Klebanoff, P.C., and Edwards & Angell (now Locke Lord), before establishing his own firm, Feiner Wolfson LLC, in 1998.
Mr. Wolfson, a West Hartford Connecticut native, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Drew University in Madison. New Jersey in 1980, where he was inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor Society. Additionally, Mr. Wolfson earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in West Hartford, Connecticut in 1983. Well-qualified in his field, Attorney Wolfson has been a longtime member of the Hartford County Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. In addition to practicing in the Connecticut state courts, Attorney Wolfson is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the United States Tax Court, the Second Circuit of the Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Among his many professional accomplishments, in the Fall of 2006, Mr. Wolfson obtained summary judgment in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut on behalf of the Town of Bloomfield, Connecticut. a former All-American City, upholding the validity of a referendum to authorize $94.6 million in bonding to renovate five Bloomfield public schools. Additionally, Mr. Wolfson is proud to serve as a board member for the Justice Education Center, Inc., whose mission for the past 43 years has been to prevent and reduce crime and violence, improve public safety, strengthen local communities and offer young people essential opportunities to achieve emotional wellness, innovative pathways toward educational success and sustainable growth in their chosen careers.
