He continued his academic efforts at New York University, earning a Master of Science in biology in 2011, followed by a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2016. As a commitment to his field, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Tian has contributed to One Thousand Writers from 2015 to 2017.
Well-regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Tian has received the Beijing Overseas Talents Center Award in 2018.
