Before embarking on his professional career, he earned a Master of Science in communications engineering from George Washington University. In light of his professional achievements, Mr. Farkhondeh won the British Telecom Awards for Quality for deploying a nationwide wireless network in the Netherlands, Team Innovation and Creativity, an award from the IEEE, and several awards through Verizon.
While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Farkhondeh is most proud of serving as the vice president of network technology at Pacific Bell Mobile Services, through which he built a wireless networking system for the company in California and Las Vegas.
