VERO BEACH, FL, March 29, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robin Waldron has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Waldron's career began after she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from Franklin Pierce College. With this degree and being a certified elementary school teacher in the state of New Jersey, she taught at Thirteenth Avenue School in Newark, New Jersey from 1973 to 1999.
During her tenure there she was able to touch the lives of many students and encourage and guide them to go on to high school and beyond. It was at this time, that she pursued an advanced graduate degree and in 1989 obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services from Montclair State University where she also acquired her license as a Professional Counselor through the State of New Jersey's Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners. Ms. Waldron's relentless drive to keep abreast of changes and research in her chosen field which is her passion, led to aligning herself with the American Counseling Association, the American School Counselor Association, and the New Jersey School Counselor Association.
Her contributions to social justice were demonstrated as she served as a volunteer at a local soup kitchen and as a domestic violence responder. It is especially noteworthy to mention that she also was closely aligned with the Hyacinth Foundation as she worked tirelessly with patients who were HIV positive.
Ms. Waldron's work, accomplishments, volunteerism, and dedication to guiding young people, and counseling them to where they went on to college and career was consistently demonstrated. The City of Newark awarded her for 25 Years of Service to mark this milestone in her career.
While her career was filled with standout moments, she takes the most pride in serving as a high school guidance counselor. The cornerstone of her success lies in her keen and well developed laser-like observation skills and her vivacious and approachable personality. She easily and seamlessly relates to others, most especially her students, and in particular, to those who present with the most challenges.
Within the coming years, Ms. Waldron intends to enjoy her well-deserved retirement but not without always being at the ready should any student, past, present, or future, require her intervention which she is always available to give and do so with commitment, respect, and true concern to meet their needs.
