Since 2003, he has focused his efforts on diplomatic and executive protection and security/safety consulting. Most recently he is consulting for a local commercial construction company in San Antonio, assisting them with the company's security and safety protocols as well as quality and control. In other capacities, he travels with heads of companies, CEOs and individuals providing personal protection for clients going on business trips or personal vacations anywhere around the world.
Mr. Ramirez has previously worked in personal and executive protection for companies and wealthy families who have a need for personal protection while instructing on safety and tactical use of weapons, high speed/high threat and tactical defensive driving, active shooter response, intelligence, counterintelligence, surveillance and counter surveillance for the Department of Defense, U.S. military special operations, and law enforcement. He engages largely in vulnerability and risk assessments for businesses or individual people who have the need to improve their current security measures and for those who are going to buy a business or property, whether in the United States or abroad, having conducted a great deal of risk assessments for the United States Department of State.
Prior to starting his private career, Mr. Ramirez served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 until 1997. He then served as a private military contractor from 2003 to 2013 in Iraq and Afghanistan, leading into a role providing diplomatic protection for United States ambassadors and other diplomats who have specific tasks to meet with the heads of the ministries in those countries to rebuild and enact peace agreements. He is proud to have been able to serve his country in this way, leading into his present career instructing for the government and military to ensure others are able to fulfill their tasks and goals safely.
Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Ramirez serves on the board of trustees for a Child Advocacy Group called Children's Alliance of South Texas, an organization that supports children who have been abused and are going to be taken out of abusive situations and put in foster care. He also lends his expertise to a non-profit organization called the Baptist Children's and Family Services in San Antonio, Texas, which assists people who are experiencing disaster and emergency situations in the United States and around the world. Within the coming years, Mr. Ramirez intends to focus his efforts on joining a company to share his knowledge of coaching and experiences to help others achieve their own goals and mentoring rising professionals in the field.
