After he completed a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery at Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan in 2008, Dr. Obeidat came to the United States. Here, he received a PhD in biomedical sciences with a concentration in neuroscience and physiology from Wright State University. Subsequently, he began working as a house staff physician specializing in neurology at the University of Cincinnati. Over the years, Dr. Obeidat completed his residency in neurology and became a fellow in demyelinating diseases and neuroimmunology at the University of Cincinnati. Upon completion, he moved to the Medical College of Wisconsin where he was appointed as an assistant professor of neurology.
Backed by years of professional expertise, Dr. Obeidat presently excels as an associate professor of neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In this capacity, he utilizes a variety of sophisticated imaging techniques to help understand stages of disease, helps devise treatment plans, and supports people through treatment and counseling. While his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Obeidat takes the most pride in founding the neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis fellowship program and creating a vibrant clinical trial program for multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
The cornerstone of Dr. Obeidat's success lay in his persistence and perseverance, as well as believing that nothing is impossible, and his wife's support. Within the coming years, he intends to see more therapeutics come into the multiple sclerosis field.
