During his earlier career, Mr. Oyeniyi worked for Consolidated Discounts Limited (Asset Management) where he gained valuable experience and became the Head of Investments Unit, a sensitive unit in the organization and reported to the Managing Director. Mr. Oyeniyi later gained valuable expertise in IT auditing with various firms of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria after his interest was sparked in information security. In conjunction with his current work, he volunteers at his children's schools. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Oyeniyi aligns himself with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and he is a certified information systems auditor (CISA) and a certified information security manager (CISM).
An expert in his field, Mr. Oyeniyi holds a bachelor's degree in statistics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a master's degree in cybersecurity from Sacred Heart University. Currently, Mr. Oyeniyi is expanding upon his professional knowledge by working towards earning a PhD in information security from the University of the Cumberlands.
In recognition of his professional achievements, Mr. Oyeniyi was named the Best Staff of the Year through Consolidated Discounts Limited (Asset Management). While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his academic achievements, which included 14 exams that were necessary to pass to become a certified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
