Mr. Mejia founded Enovate Corp in 2019 as the organization's chief executive officer. A company whose mission is to advance industries by impacting their bottom line and achieving sustanibility via effective, innovative, and advanced digital intelligence, Enovate has locations in Houston, London, and Bogota, Colombia. The organization is presently being acquired by another organization from Austin, Texas, and will be focusing on the development of clean power generation infrasctructure, which is greatly needed to meet the demands of energy security.
Mr. Mejia has also found success with Weatherford from 2007 to 2019, beginning in operations and geosciences management from 2007 to 2015 and in subsequent progressive roles, including regional product line manager for drilling services, surface logging, and wireline and testing between 2016 and 2017 and as a global evaluation services manager from 2017 to 2019. Mr. Mejia previously garnered experience as a software implementation engineer at ROSEN in between 2005 and 2007.
Finding constant inspiration in his work, Mr. Mejia draws a sense of accomplishment in spending the past few years working with investors and industry-leading companies to further develop energy landscaping and staying ahead to better support the energy industry. Mr. Mejia earned a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from the Universidad de America in 2007 and a master's degree in business management from the University of San Francisco in 2011.
Affiliated with several relevant organizations, Mr. Mejia is presently serving as chair of the board of the geothermal division and as a member of the drilling advisory committee for the Society of Petroleum Engineers International since 2022.
Mr. Mejia was recognized for his success with a Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation in 2022 and the E&P Plus' 40 Under Forty Award in 2021 from Hart Energy. He also received a Best Technical Paper from the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts in 2015 and a CMP Best Technical Paper from the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts in 2012. He also received a Forbes recoginition for Innovation in 2021.
