Originally from Uganda, his direction led to the organization of international concerts that brought American, Canadian, Jamaican, and European music artists into Africa, working with artists such as Ne-Yo, Boyz II Men, Beenie Man, T-Pain, Jason Derulo, and Sean Paul. Since taking co-ownership of the company in 1999, he has focused his efforts on handling film production scheduling as well as scouting investors for his projects.
Prior to leading his company, Mr. Kiwanuka began his career as a hip-hop artist, staging his first international tour in the early 90s with Charlie Wilson and The Gap Band. He then transitioned to working in film, beginning his acting career with Abrams Artists Agency in 1997. During this time, he was featured in over 20 TV commercials and the reality television series "Cannonball Run 2001" for five episodes. Following this time, he was an actor and content creator with Central Artists from 2006 until 2019 and served as an executive producer with CPI Image Makers from 1997 until 2001.
As a creator and film producer, he has films streaming on Netflix, Hulu, Apple, and Amazon, Mr. Kiwanuka is best known for his films "Army of One" and "Dark Angels." Added to these, he produced and acted in the role of Joshua for "Love Collision" in 2012 and was an executive producer for "The Uganda" in 2013. He produced a television show called "Days of the Dons" and both created and produced "Fame in The Family," his first reality television show that aired on E! Network in 2013. His first theater-released film, "The Dark Within," premiered in 2018, for which he was an actor and producer.
Under his leadership, No-End Entertainment was awarded "Best Music Production Company" in East Africa at the Buzz Awards in 2005 and was named one of the "Best Promotion Companies in East Africa" at the East African Awards in 2004. Additionally, Mr. Kiwanuka was invited to participate in the 14th Annual LA FEMME International Film Festival Awards Ceremony in 2018, which honored Rachel Winter and Jaina Lee Ortiz.
While developing his professional journey, Mr. Kiwanuka earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in business administration and management from California State University, Northridge in 2001.
Looking to the future, Mr. Kiwanuka is interested in collaborating with other producers on future film projects, and making bigger-budget films so he can spend more time with his family. He also looks forward to releasing his latest film, MR-9: "Do Or Die," starring Frank Grillo, Michael Jai White, and Matt Passmore. The film is based on the novel "Masud Rana: Dhonghsho Pahar" and will be released fall of this year.
