Leveraging more than six decades of excellence in mechanical engineering, Mr. McCarter has earned distinction as the executive vice president for H2L Consulting Engineers. Since 1954, he has focused his efforts on designing mechanical systems for HVAC, piping and fuel delivery. Additionally, he has served as a deacon of his local church and is a member of both the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. He has served on the South Carolina Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Surveyors.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. McCarter earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University in 1954. Among his professional accomplishments, he is proud to have received an award for serving as a National Director for the National Society of Professional Engineers. He was also honored with a Distinguished Service Award from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
Within the coming years, Mr. McCarter intends to continue his work, having enjoyed the opportunity to serve society through his profession, including with his distinguished membership with the South Carolina Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers.
