Among her many achievements, Ms. Glassman Mizener has raised over $200 million for local, national, and global foundations, including The Sabrina Cohen Foundation for Stem Cell Research and Faena Art in addition to the organizations listed below. She has been instrumental in raising funds for Playing for Change Foundation, a global nonprofit serving marginalized and at-risk youth, as the organization's chief development officer. Moreover, Ms. Glassman Mizener was on the leadership team for a $200 million capital campaign to construct the New World Center, a concert hall in South Beach, Miami, designed by Frank Gehry. During an earlier stage of her career, she was also credited as the Founder of the Friends of New World Symphony Orchestra, based in Miami Beach.
After graduating college, Ms. Glassman Mizener represented celebrity owners for the Planet Hollywood chain. Through that experience, she planned an Academy Awards party for the Miami City Ballet. Ms. Glassman Mizener subsequently landed a role with the New World Symphony between 2004 and 2013 before serving as the assistant vice president and Founder of Friends of New World Symphony, which grew to include approximately 1,000 members and focused on engaging the next generation of young philanthropists. Among other roles, she served as the vice president of development for the National YoungArts Foundation, through which she successfully implemented a national strategy for $5 million in annual fundraising. Ms. Glassman Mizener also became successful as the executive director of The Sabrina Cohen Foundation for Stem Cell Research, through which she was involved in developing the plans and securing the funding for the first adaptive beach in the U.S. and will be constructed in Miami Beach. Stacey spent three years in the for-profit, real estate sector, developing neighborhoods throughout the Miami area.
Through her community, Ms. Glassman Mizener had the opportunity to serve as a judge for the prestigious Silver Knight Awards, which recognizes talented high school students throughout Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. She has also been recognized as a founding board member for the Nu Deco Ensemble, as a volunteer fundraiser for the Woman's Fund of Miami-Dade, and as the donation drive captain for the Lotus House.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Ms. Glassman Mizener received a Bachelor of Science in public relations with a minor in Spanish in 1998. She also received a real estate license in Florida.
In light of her achievements, Ms. Glassman Mizener was honored with a Steinway Cultural Achievement Award from the Friends of New World Symphony. She was also included in Vogue magazine among the Vogue 120.
