Ms. Thunfors has mounted exhibitions in Greece, England, the United States, South Africa, Mexico and China.
SOUTHPORT, CT, January 04, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacquelyn Thunfors has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Having accrued decades of experience in her chosen fields, Ms. Thunfors has earned international distinction as both journalist and fine artist. Starting as a high school night reporter covering murders and fires for the Uniontown Morning Herald, she has worked for the Albany Knickerbocker News, Syracuse Post Standard, Westport News and the Fairfield Citizen, serving the latter as a co-founder, initiating magazine supplements.
During her decade of investigative and advisory projects, Ms. Thunfors created her innovative trademarked TRANSISTER service for one of the 10 oldest women's groups in America. Over 200,000 members immediately shared free national and international housing for job interviews, childcare and local professional advice regarding real estate, health care, legal and other guidance. Her uncovering of steroid use in U.S. women's Olympic track and field was just one of many projects that led to realigning changes in both corporate structure and non-profit national focus.
Creation of Ms. Thunfors' Roe vs Wade sculpture, introduced at the UN International Year of the Woman in Mexico City, resulted in worldwide invitations for her to exhibit, as well as her own simultaneous recognition of the power of silence in transmitting ideas universally, without language.
Past her midlife, abandoning a lifetime of leadership via words, Ms. Thunfors accepted constant ongoing government international invitations to share her work and ideas. Simultaneously, she consistently worked to perfect what became her PAINT YOUR LIFE (PYL) trademarked game process, a replica of what she had surprisingly experienced, enabling everyone to join her and discover their own hidden DNA potential.
By now, being compared to hypnosis via contemporary neuroscience labs in top U.S. universities, the PYL process is innovatively predicted to technically align science precisely to art- a measurable provable link.
Continually invited to share her ideas and PYL via "art," Ms. Thunfors has mounted exhibitions in Greece, England, the United States, South Africa, Mexico and China. At the 11th International Design Conference in Shenzhen, China, she was the opening speaker.
With a MA in education from Elmira College, two BAs from Syracuse University in English and journalism, Ms. Thunfors has done specialized PhD work at Yale University. For eight years, she was a member of the board of the Bridgeport, CT YWCA. She is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar, a member of ETA Pi Upsilon Women of Distinction, and a Theta Sigma Chi journalism honorary.
A published poet and freelancer, Ms. Thunfors is the author of three books: "Journalist Without Words- 19 Years Painting International Conversations," "Paint Your Life- an inspirational documentation of the official trademarked PYL process, a guide to both moderators and participants; and "Alternating Currents: Childhood Between Lyman and Frances."
