She currently holds a master's degree in aviation flight safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a bachelor's degree in aviation flight operations from Daniel Webster College. In addition to her education, she attributes her success to her persistence and determination to show that she could be successful, even when others said she would fail.
Ms. Hoffman's dedication to military service has been acknowledged through numerous awards from the U.S. Air Force, including the Air Combat Command Level Quarterly Award, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, six Air Medals and several commendation and military service medals.
Beyond her professional life, Ms. Hoffman is deeply involved in civic-minded activities. She actively participates in the Bike to Beat Cancer with the Norton Cancer Institute, is an active donor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and volunteers with the local schools as a guest speaker. Additionally, she has contributed her expertise to a fitment initiative, which aims to ensure that female aviators in the military have access to the appropriate gear and can perform their mission effectively.
In her personal life, Ms. Hoffman enjoys backpacking, flying, and spending time with her two children. She plans to retire from military service in the next several years and complete her second master's degree. She is passionate about developing her brand and opening a private practice in clinical counseling targeted at middle school-age children. She also envisions herself creating a STEM program or nonprofit organization to bridge the gap between military bases, communities, and surrounding organizations.
